Fabric Cutting
I decided that I'd better buy some more 'boyish' fabric for swapping for Little Prince's OHGWQ, and managed to find some lovely English fabric last week, in two different colourways. I also found another gorgeous and girly pink fabric (English again) that I couldn't resist buying. Tonight I finally had time to sit down and cut it all out!! So I now have new piles of fabric, and I even cut out the small sample of fabric to stick in the wishes when I send them. I even got the printing done to make more wishes, although I still need to actually construct the wishes! That's tomorrow's job :-)

Squish Twenty Nine
Another Squish this weekend that I'm finally catching up on blogging about.
This dramatic Chinese Dragon fabric has come all the way from Tasmania, Australia. And the kindest thing of all, the lady who sent it has finished collecting her Squishes and has sent out her remaining Squishes to those who requested them. I was lucky enough to get my request in quickly enough and got this lovely fabric :-) Thank you very much Betty and good luck making your quilt :-)

Squish Twenty Seven
Squish Twenty Six
Had another bumper Squish arrival day on Saturday, but I was too busy over the weekend to get them blogged!! So without any further ado, here is the first one (finally!)
This one has come all the way from Genoa, Illinois and has the most artsy-fartsy (she told me so!!!) wish so far :-) The fabric is black with multicoloured Chinese lanterns all over and it is very pretty. Its from my LID mate Michelle - thank you Michelle :-)

More Wishes made
Today I had to keep myself busy (Little Prince's second day of school!!) so I finally got on with making some more wishes :-) I've not got quite a pile 'in stock' so next time I need to send any out I'll be a lot quicker and more organised :-)
Squish Twenty Two
Another special Squish as its my very first English Squish, I was beginning to think I was the only English person doing this quilt swapping :-)
This lovely fabric with large turquoise butterflies and little yellow and black butterflies, was sent by Suzanne in London, UK. Thank you very much Suzanne :-)

Squish Twenty One
This is a special Squish as it marks the first quarter of my 100 Squishes collected :-) Or it did until I jiggled around and put some of the Squishes I'd already received into Little Prince's collection!!
This lovely bright pink, flowery Squish has travelled all the way from Lexington, SC. Thank you Debbie :-)

Squishes Seventeen and Eighteen
The last envelope from this morning contained two Squishes, and you can see them below :-)
This pastel green fabric, with pink flowery butterflies came from Florida (My favourite state), USA. Thank you Betsy :-)
This blossom fabric also came from Florida, and the wish is so beautifully made, it looks gorgeous. Thank you again Betsy :-)
Squish Sixteen
Squish Fifteen
It was a bumper Squishy post day today - and here is the second Squish I opened today, which brings me to nineteen Squishes for our quilt.
This lovely bright fabric, covered in cheerful flowers is from Arkansas. Thank you Monica :-)
Sorry to all Arkansas residents for mixing you up with Arizona residents!! But thank you VERY much to Monica for the list of states and their initials - hopefully no more mistakes :-)

Squish Fourteen
A new day and lots more Squishy post :-) Its lovely to think that people all round the world (well the USA and Canada so far) are thinking about our future little one.
This bright pink seascape came all the way from Quebec, Canada. With a wish in French and English (I need the English translation!). Merci beaucoup Danielle, c'est tres jolie :-)

Squishes Twelve and Thirteen
Had a lovely surprise in the post this morning - squishes from Hawaii :-) I've been really looking forward to receiving these 'exotic' squishes and they are fabulous, and really look like they are Hawaiian :-) And to add to the specialness, even the wish is written in Hawaiian - I just wish I could say the Hawaiian words, as spoken Hawaiian sounds so beautiful :-)
This lovely, bright pink fabric with Hawaiian scenes was sent by Wendy - thank you Wendy :-)
And this beautiful and brightly coloured fabric, with flower leis on, is also from Wendy - thank you again Wendy :-)

New Database!
I've spent the evening remaking my database of swappers/sent Squishes etc. I did have a proper database with all the info in it. But it kept crashing and not saving the data, even though I would manually save everytime I entered any new info. So I've gone down a level technically, and made a new 'almost' database, using a table in Open Office (which is the linux version of Window's Word). At least this way I'll stop losing all my info!!! It was getting very frustrating - especially as I was then unsure if I've sent people's Squishes!!
